Ajman records Dhs2.91 billion in rental contracts in first half of 2026

Rental activity in Ajman reached Dhs 2.91 billion in the first half of 2026, with more than 73,000 contracts registered, according to the Ajman Municipality and Planning Department.

A total of 73,472 rental contracts were recorded during the first six months of the year, highlighting continued demand for residential and investment properties across the emirate.

Rental demand

Abdulrahman Mohammed Al Nuaimi, Director-General of Ajman Municipality and Planning Department, said the figures reflect growing confidence in Ajman and its ability to support residents, investors and businesses.

He said the emirate’s infrastructure, regulations and smart services are helping improve access to services and quality of life.

Al Nuaimi added that Ajman is continuing to support sustainable development and meet the needs of its growing population and business community.

Smart rental services

Yousef Mohammed Al Sheiba Al Nuaimi, Executive Director of the Rental Regulation Sector at the department, said the figures point to continued activity in the rental market and steady demand for housing and investment.

He said the department is working to improve the rental regulation system through smart technologies and updated digital systems.

The rental market figures are in line with Ajman Vision 2030, which focuses on strengthening the emirate’s business environment and attracting investment to support economic growth.
