flydubai has started daily non-stop flights between Dubai and Aleppo International Airport, becoming the airline’s second destination in Syria after Damascus.
The first flight departed from Terminal 3 at Dubai International Airport (DXB) on 20 July and received a ceremonial water cannon salute and official welcome upon arrival in Aleppo.
The new route is expected to provide more travel options between the UAE and Syria for passengers travelling for business, leisure, and family visits. It also offers an additional connection for Syrian communities in the UAE and the wider GCC region, particularly during the summer travel period.
Syria network
The Aleppo service follows flydubai’s return to Damascus in June 2025, with the airline currently operating three daily flights to the Syrian capital. The carrier said the new route will help reduce travel times compared with indirect connections and support greater links between the UAE and Syria.

Since introducing our Damascus service last year, we have witnessed strong demand for travel between the UAE and Syria. This new route reflects our long-term confidence in the Syrian market and our commitment to providing passengers with more flexible travel options, while contributing to the region’s economic and tourism development.”
Aleppo route
Aleppo is Syria’s second-largest city and is known for its historical and cultural importance. The city is recognised as one of the world’s oldest continuously inhabited cities and is home to the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Aleppo Citadel and Al-Madina Souq, one of the world’s largest covered markets.
The airline said the route will support travel linked to tourism, trade, and family visits between the two countries.
Flight details
The new flights operate daily from Terminal 3 at Dubai International Airport to Aleppo International Airport under flydubai’s codeshare partnership with Emirates.
The partnership allows passengers to book travel on a single ticket, with through-checked baggage and access to destinations across both airlines’ networks.
Return Business Class fares from Dubai to Aleppo start from Dhs 8,000, while Economy Class Lite fares start from Dhs 1,800. Return fares from Aleppo to Dubai start from USD 2,000 for Business Class and USD 470 for Economy Class Lite.
Following the launch of services to Aleppo, flydubai’s network continues to expand, with recent additions including Bangkok in Thailand and Benghazi in Libya. The airline is also scheduled to begin flights to Pokhara in Nepal from 23 September 2026.
