UAE emerges as top internship destination for Tetr College students

The UAE has emerged as the largest internship market for students at Tetr College of Business, with undergraduate students receiving 370 internship offers across 129 companies in 23 countries during their first two years of study.

The opportunities were secured through the college’s Career Labs programme, with the UAE ranking ahead of India, the United States, Singapore, Ghana, Portugal, China and Mexico as the leading destination for internships.

The internship offers come from multinational companies, venture capital firms and startups across 55 industry sectors, including artificial intelligence, venture capital, climate technology, media and the creator economy.

Companies offering internships include eBay, AXA Egypt, National Geographic, Tiendas 3B, RamAIn, Shilling Capital, Orios Venture Partners, Jio BlackRock, ClearTax, Times of India and Bertelsmann India Investments.

Students can take up remote, onsite and hybrid roles while completing their undergraduate studies.

Industry links

Tarun Gangwar, Co-founder, Tetr College of Business, said, “The gap between what students learn and what employers need has been discussed for years. What is changing now is the willingness of employers to engage talent earlier and evaluate potential through real work rather than academic signals alone. The UAE leading our global opportunity network reflects the confidence regional and international employers place in talent that proves itself through action, not just credentials.”

Career Labs is part of Tetr College’s business education model, which combines academic study with industry placements. Undergraduate students study across seven countries, while postgraduate students learn in three global business hubs, including Dubai.
