Saudi has introduced Package Visa, a new digital initiative that allows eligible travellers to apply for a tourist visa as part of their travel booking, making it easier to plan trips to the Kingdom.
The service is being launched through qualified travel and tourism providers in selected international markets before a wider rollout.
Easier travel
The new initiative integrates visa applications with travel bookings, allowing visitors to arrange flights, accommodation and tourist visas through a single booking process. Travellers can also add events, activities and other tourism experiences to their itinerary.
Package Visa is part of Saudi’s efforts to simplify entry procedures. Since introducing the tourist e-Visa, the Kingdom has also launched visa on arrival and the Stopover Transit Visa to expand travel options.
According to Saudi, these initiatives helped the country welcome more than 29 million inbound visitors in 2025.
His Excellency Ahmed Al Khateeb, Saudi Minister of Tourism, said: “As Saudi’s tourism sector continues to grow at pace, Package Visa reflects our commitment to making travel to Saudi more seamless for visitors. By integrating visa issuance with travel bookings, we are simplifying the visitor journey and creating a more connected travel experience. This initiative also strengthens collaboration across the tourism ecosystem and supports Saudi’s position as an increasingly accessible global destination.”
Package Visa will only be available through qualified travel and tourism service providers that meet Saudi’s service standards and offer 24/7 customer support.
Saudi said the initiative is expected to simplify the travel process, support tourism businesses and encourage visitors to spend more time exploring destinations across the Kingdom.
