A 27-year-old Indian expatriate has become the first winner in Dubai’s ongoing “Win Your Home in Dubai” initiative, securing a studio apartment during a live draw at Dubai Festival City Mall.
The campaign, which rewards shoppers with residential prizes, is part of a citywide promotion led by Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE), a division of the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism, in partnership with Dubai Chambers.
First apartment win
The winner, identified as Dubai-based business consultant Aysha Ameer, was announced during the first live draw event held in front of shoppers at Dubai Festival City Mall.
Aysha Ameer was congratulated by Mohammed Feras Arayqat, Acting Vice President – Retail Calendar and Promotions at DFRE.
The initiative will award a total of 12 residential units from Binghatti Developers across Dubai.
Mall activities
The launch event also featured interactive games and competitions, with 20 shoppers winning additional prizes on the day.
Visitors took part in fast-reaction challenges, memory-based games and other family-friendly activities held during the draw event.
Upcoming draws
Weekly draws will continue on 28 June; 5, 12, 19 and 26 July; and 2, 9, 16, 23 and 30 August at selected mall locations across Dubai.
Each of the next 10 draws will award one studio apartment, while the final draw scheduled for 30 August will offer a two-bedroom apartment.
How to enter
The “Win Your Home in Dubai” campaign will run until 30 August. Residents and visitors aged 18 and above can enter by spending Dhs 500 at participating outlets across more than 3,500 retail stores in Dubai.
Shoppers must then scan a QR code at participating locations and upload their receipt to complete their entry.
