Etihad Airways has been named Best Economy Class and Best Cabin Crew at the 2026 Business Traveller Middle East Awards, held in Dubai.
The Abu Dhabi-based airline secured the Best Cabin Crew title for the sixth consecutive year, with winners selected through votes cast by readers and frequent travellers based on their travel experiences.
Reader-voted awards
The Business Traveller Middle East Awards are decided entirely by readers, making them a reflection of passenger feedback and satisfaction.
The latest recognition adds to a series of industry awards received by Etihad Airways over the past year, taking its total to more than 30 awards from regional and international aviation and business organisations.
Multiple recognitions
During the recent awards season, the airline also received recognition at the MENA Stevie Awards, Business Traveller Cellars in the Sky Awards, Aviation Achievement Awards and APEX Best Awards.
At the APEX Best Awards, Etihad was named Best Food & Beverage in the Middle East. The airline’s Champagne and red wine served in First Class also received Silver awards at the Business Traveller Cellars in the Sky Awards.
Etihad Cargo was recognised as Cargo Airline of the Year and Air Cargo Pharma Service of the Year at the Aviation Achievement Awards.
Meanwhile, the airline’s innovation initiatives earned two Gold awards and one Silver award at the MENA Stevie Awards. The honours recognised its contact centre, global chauffeur service and AI-powered service transformation programme.
Industry recognition
The awards cover a range of areas including customer service, cabin operations, cargo services, onboard catering and premium travel experiences.
According to the airline, the recognition reflects assessments by travellers, aviation experts and industry judges across multiple award platforms during the past 12 months.
