Live performances
Hussein Moheb concert
Global Village is set to welcome Hussein Moheb for an unforgettable night of live music and celebration. The famous Yemeni artist will perform on the Main Stage on Friday, 10 January at 8 PM, inviting guests to sing along, immerse themselves in the rhythm, and enjoy an electrifying atmosphere as his distinctive voice and well-loved hits such as “Ensa” and “Sayed Al ahbab” fill the destination.
Red Hot Chili Pipers show
Until 1 February, the internationally acclaimed Red Hot Chili Pipers take the Main Stage with their signature blend of bagpipes, rock, and pop. Their high-energy performances bring a powerful fusion of traditional Scottish music and modern rhythms to Global Village. The show will run twice daily except on Tuesdays.
Girl Power tribute show
On 25 January at 6:30 PM, Global Village celebrates iconic female artists with the Girl Power tribute show. The performance brings together powerful vocals, dynamic choreography, and chart-topping hits from Taylor Swift, Beyonce, Spice Girls, and Little Mix in an energetic showcase that highlights the influence of women in music across generations.
Entertainment for young guests
Baby Shark live show
Between 9 and 31 January, the much-loved Baby Shark comes to life with daily performances on the Main Stage as well as at the Kids’ Theatre. Designed for young guests, the show features colourful choreography, interactive moments, and familiar songs that families can enjoy together.
Wonderers Kids’ Fest
Running from 9 January to 15 February at the Kids’ Theatre area, The Wonderers Kids Fest invites young guests to take part in interactive shows and activities designed to inspire imagination, creativity, and playful learning. Activities will take place daily from 4 PM until 10 PM, offering families the perfect opportunity to enjoy the cooler weather and spend quality time together.
Pavilions in the spotlight
Kuwait National Day celebrations at Kuwait Pavilion
From 29 January to 5 February, Global Village marks Kuwait National Day with festive celebrations that reflect the country’s rich culture and heritage. Guests can enjoy themed entertainment, cultural expressions, and celebratory moments that honour Kuwait’s national spirit throughout the destination and at the Kuwait Pavilion.
Inside the pavilion, guests are treated to the beauty of Arabic calligraphy, the rich aroma of traditional Qahwa, and the vibrant rhythm of drums that bring Kuwaiti culture vividly to life. The Kuwait Pavilion will also host five shows daily by AlSheyyab Band from 29 January until 04 February.
Shop at the Iran Pavilion
The Iran Pavilion stands as a majestic tribute to Persian heritage. Inside, guests can wander through bustling bazaars and watch skilled artisans at work, from practicing traditional calligraphy and weaving intricate carpets to crafting delicate marquetry by hand, making for the perfect souvenir to take home. Celebrating Iran’s rich cultural legacy, the pavilion offers a journey through timeless artistry, exquisite craftsmanship, and world-renowned flavours, including its much-loved pastries.
Drone show and fireworks
On 9 January at 7:20 PM, guests can look to the skies above Global Village for a visually striking drone show, for the first time featuring 3,000 drones, marking the start of Wonderers Kids’ Fest. Fireworks will light up the Global Village skyline at 9:00 PM every Friday, Saturday, and Tuesday. To celebrate Kuwait National Day, Global Village will also host a special drone show and fireworks display on 31 January.
With 30 pavilions showcasing over 90 cultures, more than 3,500 shopping outlets, and over 250 dining destinations, alongside 450 world-class performers presenting 40,500 shows, Global Village brings together a rich mix of entertainment, culture, and global flavours.
This January, guests can enjoy a wide range of performances, family activities, and international cuisine across the destination.
