Hotpack earns advanced ESG label from Dubai Chamber

Hotpack has received the Dubai Chamber of Commerce ESG Label in the Advanced category after scoring 87 percent in the Chamber’s assessment, a result described as one of the strongest performances in the programme.

ESG label award

The recognition, issued by the Chamber’s Centre for Responsible Business, reviews companies on environmental, social and governance practices. Hotpack’s rating follows its recent EcoVadis Gold Certification, which placed the company among the top five percent of assessed firms worldwide.

Maha Al Gargawi, Vice President of Business Advocacy at Dubai Chamber of Commerce, said, “The Dubai Chamber of Commerce ESG Label reflects our firm commitment to supporting institutions in adopting more sustainable, inclusive, and competitive business models. It provides a strategic framework that motivates companies to embrace responsible corporate practices that enhance transparency and reinforce the principles of good governance within their operations, contributing to the competitiveness of Dubai’s business community both regionally and globally.”

Sustainability efforts

Hotpack earned high scores for its use of renewable materials, wider solar panel installations, waste-management systems and a transport policy aimed at cutting emissions. The assessment also noted employee-focused initiatives, such as the Hotpack Happiness Programme and strengthened health, safety and human-rights practices.

On governance, the company was recognised for upgraded risk-management systems, supplier audits, whistleblowing and anti-bribery policies, and broader compliance controls.

Company response

Mr. Abdul Jebbar PB, Group CEO and Managing Director of Hotpack Global, said, “We are honoured to receive the Dubai Chamber of Commerce ESG Label in the Advanced category. This recognition underscores our long-standing commitment to sustainability and responsible growth. Achieving an 87 per cent score highlights the dedication of our teams across the organisation, who continue to push boundaries in environmental stewardship, social responsibility, and ethical governance.”

He added, “The ESG Label validates the systems, policies, and culture we have built over the years. Our focus remains on continuous improvement, strengthening transparency, elevating sustainability performance, and collaborating closely with customers, suppliers, and regulators to drive meaningful impact across our value chain.”

Hotpack said it will continue expanding its sustainability programmes and encouraged other companies to pursue the ESG Label to support stronger governance, clearer benchmarks and long-term responsible growth.
