flydubai is launching three weekly flights between Dubai and AlUla for the upcoming winter season, giving UAE travellers direct access to one of Saudi Arabia’s emerging heritage and tourism destinations.
Flights will operate on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays from October 26, 2025, to March 28, 2026.
Seasonal routes expanded
The new service is part of a broader increase in air connectivity to AlUla, with a total of 27 flights per week planned during the peak winter months. The expanded schedule includes routes from major regional cities such as Doha, Amman, Riyadh, Jeddah, and Dammam.
Qatar Airways is operating three weekly flights from Doha, while Royal Jordanian will resume its twice-weekly service from Amman between October 19 and February 26. Saudia is running two daily flights, one each from Riyadh and Jeddah. Flynas will serve AlUla five times per week from Riyadh and Dammam.
Tourism push for AlUla
The increase in flights is expected to support a growing number of regional visitors to AlUla, especially during the cooler months. Known for its striking landscapes, ancient archaeological sites, and seasonal cultural events, AlUla has become an attractive destination for short-haul travellers from the GCC.
The winter season also marks the return of the AlUla Moments calendar, featuring concerts, festivals, and heritage experiences that aim to position the destination as a key cultural and tourism hub in the region.
