Emirates Pride Perfumes has officially broken a world record by hosting the largest perfume testing event ever recorded, according to Guinness World Records. The event took place at the One&Only One Za’abeel in Dubai and brought together hundreds of guests, including professional perfume evaluators, influencers, and members of the media.
Public chose winning scent
For the first time in the fragrance industry, a brand invited its customers to take part in a live scent testing, rating, and voting session. Participants were asked to experience three limited-edition fragrances, all developed to reflect the brand’s Emirati roots and design philosophy. Attendees then voted to select a single winning fragrance, which was later revealed as the brand’s new Anniversary Scent.
The event featured dedicated scent-testing lounges and interactive installations, offering guests an immersive look into Emirati culture and the brand’s approach to perfumery. A live announcement confirmed the Guinness World Records recognition, followed by the public unveiling of the chosen scent.
