As schools across the UAE prepare to reopen on Monday, retailers and businesses are rolling out major back-to-school promotions to help families get ready for the new academic year.
From school supplies and uniforms to electronics and lunchboxes, stores are offering attractive discounts and bundle deals aimed at easing the financial burden on parents. With shopping malls buzzing and online platforms offering next-day delivery, the back-to-school season is officially in full swing.
Babyshop
With schools across the UAE set to reopen, Babyshop has launched a new back-to-school collection, offering essential items such as backpacks, lunch gear, and uniforms at budget-friendly prices.
The brand’s new range includes character-themed backpacks starting from Dhs 49, featuring designs like Hello Kitty and Stitch. Ergonomic options from Babyshop’s in-house brand, Juniors, are priced from Dhs 149 and come with padded straps and spacious compartments.
Lunchboxes and bottles also feature in the range, with bento-style containers and BPA-free water bottles available from Dhs 12 onwards.
Combo packs — including trolley bags, lunchboxes, and bottles — are available in sets of three or five, starting at Dhs 69. School uniform basics, such as cotton polos and drawstring shorts, are priced from Dhs 17.
Babyshop says the collection is designed for both comfort and long-term use. “Each product is carefully selected to meet high standards of safety, style, and longevity, all while keeping affordability front and center,” the company stated.
IKEA ‘Back-to-ME’ initiative
As the new school year begins, IKEA has launched a campaign focused not just on children, but also on parents and caregivers. The “Back-to-Me” initiative encourages families to use the back-to-school season as a time for adults to refresh their living spaces and focus on personal well-being.
The campaign highlights how parents can transform their homes into more organized, calming, and productive spaces. IKEA is offering up to 50% off on selected items, including desks, ergonomic chairs, storage solutions, and lighting. Discounts are valid until September 7 across UAE stores.
IKEA Family Blue members can also receive 10% cashback on selected purchases during the campaign period, adding extra value for returning customers.

The latest lineup includes models such as the mini 12™, mini 41™, mini LiPlay™, and mini 99™, offering features like instant prints, selfie modes, voice messages via QR codes, and creative filters. For wider prints, the Instax WIDE Evo™ supports group shots and smartphone printing.
Instax products are now available across the UAE and wider region, with prices starting from Dhs 479. Models can be purchased online through local retailers including grandstores.ae and sharafdg.com.

Danish footwear brand ECCO has launched its new Back-to-School collection in the UAE, offering supportive and durable shoes designed for children as they return to classrooms.
