The Bitcoin MENA Conference is set to return to Abu Dhabi this December, with MicroStrategy Co-Founder Michael Saylor headlining the event for the first time in the region.
Organised by ADNEC Group and BTC Media, the two-day conference will take place at ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi on December 8–9, 2025.
Focus on cryptocurrency adoption
Now in its second edition, Bitcoin MENA aims to bring together global leaders in digital finance, with a focus on Bitcoin and cryptocurrency adoption in the Middle East. The event will feature panel discussions, workshops, and a major exhibition covering trends in blockchain, asset management, and decentralised finance.
Michael Saylor, Executive Chairman of Strategy (formerly MicroStrategy), is known for introducing Bitcoin to the corporate treasury model. His appearance at the conference is expected to draw strong regional and international interest.
Humaid Al Dhaheri, Managing Director and Group CEO of ADNEC Group, said:
“The return of Bitcoin MENA reaffirms Abu Dhabi’s emergence as a global hub for digital asset innovation and thought leadership. Looking ahead to 2025, we are excited to collaborate with BTC Inc. to further elevate the platform, uniting international leaders and the region’s dynamic ecosystem for an even more impactful event.”
Brandon Green, Chief of Staff at BTC Inc, said:

We’re excited to combine the man pioneering capital market Bitcoin adoption with one of the most forward-looking economies in the world, in what will sure to be a historic keynote.”
Regional interest growing
Saylor, who in 2020 led MicroStrategy to begin holding Bitcoin as a corporate asset, is expected to share views on how cryptocurrency fits into long-term investment strategies. He has previously said:
“The money is getting weaker. The assets are getting more expensive. Bitcoin is the apex property of the human race.”
“There is no second best.”
Bitcoin MENA debuted in 2024, featuring speakers such as Saifedean Ammous and Eric Trump, and support from platforms like Binance, eToro, and M2. The conference drew thousands of attendees and will aim to expand its reach in this year’s edition.
Event details
The 2025 event will again bring together industry professionals, investors, entrepreneurs, policymakers, and content creators to explore the evolving role of digital currencies in global finance. Organisers say the conference will offer both strategic insights and networking opportunities at a time of growing regional interest in blockchain technology.
