SelfDrive adds new Geely Cityray to monthly car subscription service

SelfDrive Mobility has added the 2026 Geely Cityray to its fleet, offering the new compact SUV exclusively through its mobile app on monthly subscription plans.

Flexible car subscriptions

The Geely Cityray is available via SelfDrive’s app-based subscription service, which allows users in the UAE to access vehicles without long-term contracts. Monthly packages start at Dhs 1,699 and include insurance, maintenance, 24/7 roadside assistance, and optional doorstep delivery. Bookings can be completed within two hours, according to the company.

Compact SUV for city use

The Cityray features a 1.5L fuel-efficient engine, a digital cockpit, and built-in safety technologies like parking assist. Its compact design and tech-forward features are aimed at urban drivers. The car is offered in three colours: Arctic White, Steel Grey, and Electric Blue.

Soham Shah, CEO and Founder of SelfDrive Mobility, said: “The Geely Cityray was just introduced in the UAE, and we’re excited to offer it on SelfDrive even before it enters the traditional rental fleet market. This reflects our commitment to delivering brand-new models to our users through a platform built on convenience, flexibility, and digital innovation.”

The launch is part of SelfDrive’s broader partnership with Geely’s local dealership network. Other Geely models already available on the platform include the Emgrand, Coolray, Starray, and Monjaro.

Future expansion plans

Currently exclusive to the UAE, SelfDrive is considering expanding access to the Cityray in Qatar, Bahrain, and Saudi Arabia, depending on market interest and dealership collaboration.

SelfDrive Mobility was founded in the UAE in 2017 and now operates in nine countries, serving over 1.5 million customers with vehicles from more than 50 brands.
