Zircon Medical Equipment LLC has signed a partnership agreement with South Korea-based dental implant manufacturer Dentium during AEEDC Dubai 2026, as the UAE continues to expand its advanced dental care and medical technology sector.
The agreement was signed at the Dubai World Trade Centre, bringing together regional distributors and global manufacturers amid growing demand for digital dentistry and implant solutions in the UAE.
Agreement signed at AEEDC
The partnership was signed by Mr Karim Braka, General Manager of Skylight Group, on behalf of Zircon Medical Equipment, and Dr Sung Min Chung, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Dentium. The signing ceremony was attended by senior executives, including Mr Mubarak Bin Falah, Chief Executive Officer of CMC Holding; Mr Hae Won, General Manager of Dentium Dubai; and Mr Rami Alhasan, Managing Director of Zircon Medical Equipment.
AEEDC Dubai is one of the region’s largest dental conferences, attracting global healthcare companies and industry stakeholders each year.
Focus on dental technology
Under the agreement, Dentium’s dental implant systems and digital medical devices will be distributed through Zircon Medical Equipment’s regional network. The collaboration aims to improve access to advanced dental technologies for clinicians across the UAE.
Dentium specialises in implantology and digital dentistry, while Zircon Medical Equipment operates as a regional supplier of medical and dental solutions.
The partnership reflects broader economic ties between the UAE and the Republic of Korea. Bilateral non-oil trade reached about USD 6.6 billion in 2024, with nearly 1,300 Korean companies currently operating in the UAE, according to official trade figures.
The agreement comes as Dubai’s medical tourism and dental services sectors continue to grow. The UAE dental services market is projected to increase from around USD 195 million in 2024 to nearly USD 291 million by 2030, driven by demand for digitally enabled and precision-based dental care.
Data from the Dubai Health Authority shows dentistry accounted for 29 per cent of Dubai’s 691,000 medical tourists in 2023. Total medical tourism spending exceeded Dhs 1.034 billion during the year.
Commenting on the partnership, Mr Mubarak Bin Falah, Chief Executive Officer of CMC Holding, a subsidiary of Sirius International Holding said, “We are pleased to enter into this strategic partnership with one of Korea’s and the world’s leading companies in dental equipment and advanced technologies. This collaboration strengthens our group’s presence in the medical and healthcare sector, which remains one of the UAE’s most dynamic and strategically important industries, while supporting our vision for long-term, sustainable growth through high-quality global partnerships.”
Mr Karim Braka, General Manager of Skylight Group, a subsidiary of CMC Holding added, “This agreement reflects our long-term approach to building partnerships based on trust, clinical relevance, and shared value. Through this collaboration, Zircon will deliver world-class dental technologies that support clinicians, enhance patient care, and contribute to the continued advancement of the UAE’s dental sector in line with international best practices.”
Dr Sung Min Chung, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Dentium, said: “This partnership brings together global innovation and strong regional insight. By working closely with Zircon Medical Equipment, we aim to advance digital dentistry, expand access to proven implant technologies, and support the ongoing evolution of clinical practice across the UAE and the wider region.”
The partnership forms part of Zircon Medical Equipment’s wider strategy to work with international medical technology manufacturers as the UAE strengthens its position in healthcare innovation.
