Yas Waterworld on Yas Island has been awarded a Guinness World Records title for having the highest number of waterslides in a single waterpark, following the addition of new attractions.
The Abu Dhabi waterpark now features 55 waterslides, earning it the world record. The certificate was presented during a ceremony attended by Miral Group CEO Dr. Mohamed Abdalla Al Zaabi, Yas Waterworld General Manager Rayan Al Haddar and Guinness World Records adjudicator Hanane Spiers.
New milestone
The record follows the park’s recent expansion, which added 11 new rides, slides and attractions. Yas Waterworld now offers more than 70 rides, slides and attractions in total.
Among the latest additions is Matamir’s Drop, billed as the UAE’s tallest waterslide.

Park expansion
The new attractions form part of the park’s Lost City theme, an extension of “The Legend of the Lost Pearl.” The expansion includes high-speed slides, family attractions and interactive water experiences designed for visitors of all ages.
The Guinness World Records recognition marks the latest milestone for Yas Waterworld as it expands its attractions on Yas Island.
