Two new bus routes connect Dubai Hills to Equity Metro Station and DAMAC Hills to Dubai Studio City

Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has launched two new circular public bus routes aimed at enhancing local connectivity and improving public transportation options across the city.

DH1 Route: This circular bus service operates between Dubai Hills and Equity Metro Station.

It runs at one-hour intervals, starting its first journey from Dubai Hills at 7:09 am.

On weekdays, the last trip departs at 10:09 pm, while on weekends (Friday to Sunday), service extends until 12:09 am (past midnight).

DA2 Route: Connecting DAMAC Hills with Dubai Studio City, the DA2 route runs every two hours.

The first bus departs from DAMAC Hills at 5:47 am, with the final journey leaving at 9:32 pm daily. A flat fare of Dhs5 is charged per journey.

Adel Mohammed Shakeri, Director of Planning and Business Development at RTA’s Public Transport Agency, highlighted the strategic significance of these new routes. They are designed to streamline local mobility, providing convenient and efficient travel options that integrate seamlessly with other modes of public transport in Dubai.

RTA remains committed to expanding and optimizing Dubai’s public bus network, ensuring strong connections with the metro, tram, and marine transport systems. These efforts are geared towards making public transportation the preferred choice for residents and visitors alike, promoting sustainable mobility solutions across the emirate.
