Sharjah unveils locations for 2026 New Year fireworks

Sharjah is set to welcome the New Year with a series of public celebrations across multiple locations, featuring fireworks, live entertainment, and dining options.

On the evening of December 31, 2025, three 10-minute fireworks displays will light up the skies at Al Majaz Waterfront, Al Heera Beach, and Khorfakkan Beach. These shows aim to bring together residents and visitors for a shared countdown experience.

The festivities will extend beyond the three main fireworks venues, including Al Noor Island, Sharjah Boats experience, Al Montzah Parks, and Mleiha National Park. These sites offer a variety of settings from waterfronts to natural islands and desert landscapes.

At Al Majaz Waterfront, attendees can enjoy fireworks alongside a fountain show, live entertainment, and more than 20 restaurants and cafés. Al Heera Beach offers a family-friendly environment with live shows and 18 dining options along its 3.5-kilometre coastline. Khorfakkan Beach features fireworks and entertainment at a scenic mountain-to-sea location, supported by 22 seafront dining venues.

Al Noor Island will host a beachside dinner priced at Dhs340 for adults and Dhs150 for children, with a limited capacity of 120 guests. The Sharjah Boats experience offers a private cruise to watch the fireworks from Khalid Lagoon, with 12 boats accommodating up to 10 people each. These cruises depart at 11:30 pm and last 45 minutes.

Mleiha National Park will present the “New Year’s under the Stars” overnight event from December 31 to January 1. Priced at Dhs550 for adults and Dhs390 for children, it includes camping, dinner, breakfast, and cultural activities like camel rides, archery, and live music. Children under five can attend free. Booking in advance is required due to limited spaces.

These celebrations reflect Shurooq’s goal to offer a balanced New Year’s Eve programme that combines family-friendly public events with unique experiences across Sharjah’s diverse locations.

Shurooq advises early booking for limited-capacity activities and recommends following official channels for updates and full event information.
