Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has rolled out a new pre-booking service for vehicle tests at Tasjeel centres in Al Qusais and Al Barsha.
Vehicle owners can now schedule their test appointments using the RTA Dubai app or the RTA website.
This new feature aims to make it easier for drivers to get their vehicles tested by reducing long wait times, especially during busy periods. It also responds to feedback from vehicle owners who asked for better service options.
Under the new system, you can book appointments for Renewal Tests, Registration Tests, and Export Tests with Number Plates.
If you visit these centres without a booking during the trial period, there will be a fee of Dhs 100.
People of Determination and senior citizens don’t need to book in advance; they can get their tests done without an appointment.
The RTA chose the Al Qusais and Al Barsha centres because they are among the largest in Dubai. The authority will monitor these centres during the trial phase to see how well the booking system works and to make any necessary improvements.
