Sharjah Airport is gearing up for a busy start to the summer holiday season, expecting to handle over 800,000 passengers between July 1 and 15, 2025.
Operational plan in place
The Sharjah Airport Authority (SAA) has activated a full operational plan to manage the rise in travel demand. Measures include increased staffing, enhanced customer service, and coordination with key partners to maintain efficiency across all services.
Sharjah Airport is also promoting the use of smart technologies to streamline procedures and improve passenger experience.
Health and logistical measures have also been reinforced, with updated security protocols in line with global aviation developments.
Call for early arrival
Passengers are advised to arrive at the airport at least three hours before departure to avoid delays. Travellers are also encouraged to confirm flight details directly with their airlines ahead of time.
SAA says it is committed to providing high standards of safety and service throughout the peak period. The authority noted that its efforts aim to strengthen the airport’s role as a key regional and international travel hub.
