The Ascott Limited, a leading global hospitality operator, has announced the signing of Al Mahra Resort by The Crest Collection, set to debut on Ras Al Khaimah’s Marjan Island in the first quarter of 2027.
This marks the UAE launch of The Crest Collection, Ascott’s global brand known for culturally rich, heritage-inspired luxury properties.

Inspired by the elegance of the Arabian “Mahra” horse, Al Mahra Resort blends traditional Arabian design with modern comfort.
The resort will feature 539 rooms and suites, multiple dining venues including a beach bar and café, and high-end leisure amenities such as a swimming pool, gym, kids’ play area, and water sports. It will also include state-of-the-art meeting facilities for business and social events.
Positioned on the fast-developing Marjan Island, the resort aligns with Ras Al Khaimah’s ambition to become a premier travel and investment destination.
With heritage tourism on the rise globally — projected to grow at 3.51% CAGR between 2025 and 2033 — the introduction of The Crest Collection adds depth to the emirate’s premium offerings.
