OMODA&JAECOO is introducing its new hybrid SUV, the JAECOO J7 SHS (Super Hybrid System), in the UAE market this month.
The vehicle aims to offer a practical solution for drivers seeking both electric driving and long-range capability.
Hybrid SUV debut
The JAECOO J7 SHS combines electric and fuel power, providing over 1,200 kilometers of total range on a full tank and charge. For daily city driving, it offers up to 90 kilometers of pure electric range, targeting users who want quieter and more sustainable short trips.
Fuel efficiency is a key focus, with the vehicle consuming less than 6 liters per 100 kilometers. The hybrid system is designed to give users flexibility, helping them avoid frequent charging while still lowering fuel usage and emissions.
Features for UAE roads
According to the company, the JAECOO J7 SHS is engineered for the UAE’s tough driving conditions, such as high temperatures, traffic congestion, and long distances between cities.
Key safety technologies include intelligent lane support, automatic emergency braking, and battery protection systems.
Inside, the SUV features a panoramic sunroof, customizable ambient lighting, and an infotainment system with smartphone connectivity. The Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) function allows the SUV to power external devices during outdoor activities or emergencies.

This is the first model in OMODA&JAECOO’s Super Hybrid series to be launched in the UAE, marking the brand’s entry into the region’s growing hybrid vehicle segment.
