HONOR, a global AI device ecosystem company, has introduced the HONOR 600 Series, including the HONOR 600 and HONOR 600 Pro, at a launch event in Dubai. The event brought together media, partners, and technology enthusiasts for a first look at the devices.
Debo Zhang, General Manager of HONOR GCC, highlighted the brand’s growth in the region, noting a 53% year-on-year increase in smartphone and tablet shipments in the GCC. “Our recent innovations are transforming the daily smartphone experience in the region,” he said, pointing to improvements in camera technology, device performance, and AI features.
Camera and AI features
The HONOR 600 Series includes a flagship-level 200MP Ultra-Clear AI Night Camera with a 1/1.4-inch sensor for detailed low-light photography. AI stabilization and the AI Color Engine improve clarity and color accuracy, while the Pro model supports up to 120x zoom.
AI-powered tools are integrated into the devices, including AI Image to Video 2.0, which converts still images into short cinematic videos, and AI Photos Agent, allowing users to edit images with natural language commands. The series also features a dedicated AI Button for quick access to these functions.
Battery and performance
The HONOR 600 Series houses a 7,000mAh battery, supported by 80W HONOR SuperCharge technology, designed for all-day use without compromising the slim form factor. The devices are powered by Snapdragon flagship-class processors.
HONOR has expanded collaborations with global apps and services to enhance user experience. The launch included an AI-powered Snapchat filter, allowing users to transform photos into digital artworks.
Zhang also highlighted new business directions, including B2B sales in sectors such as healthcare, education, and finance, as well as growth in IoT products like headphones, smartwatches, and home devices.
