flydubai will host its UAE National Careers Open Day on August 16 at the flydubai Campus, offering UAE nationals an opportunity to explore careers in aviation and learn about the airline’s training and development programmes.
Career opportunities
The event will bring together the airline’s recruitment and talent development teams, giving students, graduates and early-career professionals an overview of career pathways within the company.
The programmes on offer include the Engineering Apprentice Programme (AMEL), Flight Dispatcher Programme, Pilot Training Programmes, including the Ab Initio and Second Officer pathways, UAE National Graduate Programmes, and other roles across operational and corporate functions.

Expansion plans
The airline said the initiative supports its efforts to develop Emirati talent as it expands its operations.
flydubai currently operates a fleet of 97 aircraft and has more than 300 aircraft on order. The expansion is expected to create long-term job opportunities across engineering, flight operations, airport operations, commercial, technology, finance, human resources and other business functions.
The Dubai-based carrier serves more than 120 destinations in 58 countries and employs nearly 7,000 people, including around 2,000 pilots and engineers. Its aircraft orders include 30 Boeing Dreamliners, 150 Airbus A321neo aircraft and 75 Boeing 737 MAX aircraft scheduled for delivery over the next decade.
