Dubai-based airline flydubai has announced a new daily service to Bangkok’s Don Mueang International Airport, expanding its network in Thailand and strengthening links between the UAE and Southeast Asia.

flydubai will begin flights to Don Mueang International Airport from July 1, 2026. The service will operate daily from Terminal 3 at Dubai International Airport.

This will be the airline’s second destination in Thailand, alongside Krabi, as it continues to expand its presence in the region.

Return Business Class fares from Dubai to Bangkok start from Dhs 11,100, while Economy Class Lite fares start from Dhs 3,000. Return fares from Bangkok to Dubai start from THB 83,900 for Business Class and THB 22,100 for Economy Class Lite.

The daily service is expected to cater to increased summer travel demand between Dubai and Bangkok.

Codeshare Partnership

The new route will operate under a codeshare agreement with Emirates, allowing passengers to connect through Dubai to a wider global network on a single ticket with coordinated baggage handling.

Ghaith Al Ghaith, Chief Executive Officer at flydubai, said: “we are pleased to expand our network in Thailand with the launch of flights to Bangkok, offering customers access to another gateway into the Thai capital. This addition reflects our continued commitment to offering our passengers more travel options. As travel demand continues to recover, we remain confident in the resilience of the tourism sector. The new service allows us to deploy capacity where it is needed, while strengthening travel and trade flows between the UAE and key markets.”

Sudhir Sreedharan, Divisional Senior Vice President of Commercial Operations at flydubai, said: “Bangkok remains a highly popular destination for leisure and business travellers alike. With the introduction of our daily flights, we are offering greater flexibility and convenience, particularly during the peak summer travel period. We expect strong demand and we look forward to increasing the frequency of our flights as we build up traffic on the route over the summer.”

Growing Network

flydubai said the expansion supports its broader strategy of connecting underserved markets. The airline also operates routes to destinations in Southeast Asia, including Langkawi and Penang in Malaysia.
