Etihad Airways marked its 20th anniversary at the Dubai Airshow, showcasing its new Boeing 787-9 among the four recent Dreamliner additions.

These aircraft are central to the airline’s plans for expansion, having facilitated the addition of 12 new destinations this year, with upcoming routes to India, Boston, and Nairobi. To support this growth, Etihad has increased flight frequencies and bolstered connectivity in various markets.

Antonoaldo Neves, CEO of Etihad Airways, emphasized the significance of this anniversary as a platform to celebrate past achievements and set a robust course for the future. The new 787 Dreamliner features an updated cabin design, boasting 32 Business class and 271 Economy class seats.

Elements seat

In Business, the airline introduces the Elements seat, offering enhanced comfort, privacy with suite doors, and advanced amenities such as 4K screens, wireless charging, and ample storage. Economy class offers lighter, more fuel-efficient seats, including additional legroom in the Economy Space seats.

The aircraft is equipped with cutting-edge amenities, including Safran’s Rave Ultra 13.3” 4K screens and Viasat’s high-speed Wi-Fi using Ka-band technology, allowing for streaming, Live TV, and chat packages for Etihad Guest members.
