Emirates will increase its flights between Dubai and Manila with four additional weekly services starting April 2, reflecting the airline’s ongoing growth in Southeast Asia and commitment to the Philippines.
Flight schedule
The new flights, EK330/331, will operate on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. Flight EK330 departs Dubai at 12:45hrs, arriving in Manila at 1:25hrs the next day. The return flight EK331 leaves Manila at 3:25hrs, arriving in Dubai at 8:25hrs. All timings are local.
The services will use Boeing 777-300ER aircraft, offering 8 First Class private suites, 42 Business Class lie-flat seats, and 304 Economy Class seats.
Emirates said the added flights will provide more options for corporate travellers, marine customers, and the Filipino diaspora. The expansion also allows shorter connections to destinations in Canada, the United States, and Europe, including Milan, London, Budapest, and Athens via Dubai.
The airline provides regionally-inspired meals, complimentary beverages, and its ice inflight entertainment system, offering over 6,500 on-demand channels in 40 languages, including Tagalog.
Cargo capacity
Each Boeing 777-300ER can carry up to 20 tonnes of cargo in its bellyhold. The four additional flights will boost cargo capacity, supporting trade between Manila, Dubai, and major markets in Europe, the United States, and the Indian subcontinent.
Emirates began flying to Manila in 1990 and now serves the Philippines with 28 weekly flights. The new services will increase this to 34 weekly flights. Through its partnership with Philippine Airlines, Emirates connects passengers to additional domestic points: five via Manila, seven via Cebu, and three via Clark, with baggage check-through to final destinations.
The airline also opened its first Emirates World Store in Southeast Asia last year in Manila, showcasing onboard products and Emirates merchandise, including an NBA collection.
