Global sensation Ed Sheeran is all set to captivate Dubai on January 19 and 20, 2024 with what is expected to be the largest open-air concert the city has ever witnessed.

Brought to the Emirate by All Things Live Middle East, with support from Dubai Calendar and Coca-Cola Arena, Sheeran, a megastar with over 150 million records sold worldwide, will grace The Sevens Stadium for an unforgettable two-night musical extravaganza, promising to enthral tens of thousands of residents and visitors alike.

Sheeran, who has already dropped two albums in 2023, “Autumn Variations” and “-ʼ (Deluxe),” featuring the hit single “Eyes Closed,” will perform “in the round,” his signature setup featuring a 360-degree central stage, offering fans an unparalleled immersive experience as they surround the artist. The “Shape of You” singer-songwriter is returning to the UAE for the first time since 2017.

Sheeran’s upcoming shows in Asia mark his first since 2019, and his Middle East performances are his first since 2017, with European shows to follow after his previous stint on the continent last year.

This announcement follows his groundbreaking USA tour, during which Ed set numerous attendance records, including Los Angeles’ SoFi Stadium and New Jersey’s MetLife Stadium. The latter witnessed Ed achieving the largest single-day concert attendance in the USA’s history.

In 2023 alone, Sheeran released two albums, “ʼ- (Subtract)” and “Autumn Variations,” both of which soared to the top of the charts globally. Released to critical acclaim in May and September, respectively, Sheeran collaborated with The National’s Aaron Dessner on both LPs.
