Dubai is preparing to kick off the 2025 edition of Dubai Summer Surprises (DSS), a citywide summer festival running from June 27 to August 31.
Organised by Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE), this year’s DSS will feature new events, shopping deals, family-friendly experiences, and live performances across the emirate.
New shopping phases
For the first time in DSS history, the event will feature three distinct retail phases. These include the Summer Holiday Offers (June 27 – July 17), Great Dubai Summer Sale (July 18 – August 10), and Back to School promotions (August 11 – 31). Each phase will offer a range of limited-time sales, mall activations, and exclusive deals.
Shoppers can also expect raffles, flash sales, and daily surprises throughout the festival. Participating locations include major malls and retail destinations across Dubai.
