Union Coop

Union Coop expects continued growth in Dubai’s retail sector throughout April, fueled by the conclusion of the second-term school holidays and employees returning to work after Eid Al-Fitr.

This surge in demand is seen as a result of families preparing for school and a return to regular routines.

Increase in Footfall and Consumer Spending

Mr. Shuaib Al Hammadi, Senior Media Section Manager at Union Coop, reported that the positive retail momentum from earlier in the year is set to continue into April. With rising consumer demand and a boost in mall visitors, retail sales are expected to increase compared to previous years.

Back-to-School and Work Promotions

Retailers are enhancing their operations to cater to the growing demand for school supplies and work-related essentials. Many shopping centers have launched seasonal promotions to attract customers, offering discounts and expanding their offerings of products for both families and professionals.

Union Coop’s Role in Retail Growth

Union Coop has introduced eight promotional campaigns throughout April, offering discounts on over 3,000 products. These initiatives are aimed at providing shoppers with value and enhancing their shopping experience, especially in a competitive retail environment.

Retailers are advised to implement innovative marketing strategies to build consumer confidence and encourage thoughtful spending during this period of increased shopping activity.
