The 1st International Symposium on Precision Diagnostics in Molecular Allergy (PDMA UAE) kicked off in Dubai, bringing together leading physicians and specialists in allergy and immunology from around the world to discuss the latest advancements in diagnosis and treatment.
The event follows previous successful editions held in Egypt, Turkey, and Saudi Arabia.
The conference opened with a session by Dr. Bassam Mahboub, Consultant Pulmonologist and Allergy Specialist at Rashid Hospital, who highlighted current challenges in allergy diagnosis and management in the region.
Dr. Christian Lobenick from Austria presented a lecture on the latest molecular diagnostic technologies, while Prof. Stefano Del Giacco from Italy discussed detailed diagnostic approaches using molecular components.
The event concluded with a session by Dr. Ravi Gutta from Clemenceau Medical Center in Dubai, who reviewed the newest therapeutic approaches, including advanced immunotherapy treatments.
The conference aims to enhance collaboration, exchange expertise among specialists, and advance healthcare standards in allergy and immunology across the region.
