Residents of Dubai now have a chance to win exciting prizes by showcasing their creativity and decorating their homes for Ramadan.

‘Best Decorated Ramadan Homes’

Brand Dubai, the creative arm of the Government of Dubai Media Office, has launched the “Dubai’s Best Decorated Ramadan Homes” competition, encouraging families to adorn their homes with festive lights and decorations throughout the Holy Month.

The competition offers generous prizes, with Dhs 100,000 for the first-place winner, Dhs 60,000 for second place, and Dhs 40,000 for third place.

Free Umrah trip

Additionally, seven winners will receive an Umrah trip for two. To participate, Dubai residents must decorate their home facades with lights and other festive decorations. They can even incorporate the #RamadanInDubai logo into their designs.

To enter, participants must upload a creative video of their decorated home as an Instagram Reel. The video must reflect the theme of the ‘Year of the Community’ and be shared on the contestant’s public Instagram account.

Entrants must tag @branddubai and @ferjan.dubai and use the hashtag #Dubai’s_Best_Decorated_Ramadan_Homes_2025. Submissions must be made by March 21.

Year of the Community

This competition is part of the UAE’s ‘Year of the Community’ initiative, which focuses on bringing people together, celebrating cultural traditions, and strengthening social bonds. Shaima Al Suwaidi, Director of Brand Dubai, shared, “By transforming their homes with festive decorations and lights, residents contribute to a collective celebration that extends beyond their doorsteps, strengthening social bonds in the city.”

Aliya Al Shamlan, CEO of Ferjan Dubai, explained that the competition aims to foster stronger connections within neighbourhoods. “Decorating homes is more than just a festive gesture, it’s a way for residents to express their identity and creativity, take pride in their surroundings, and contribute to an atmosphere of joy that extends across the city.”

A panel of judges will select the most visually striking and innovative decorations. To ensure broad participation, no two winners will come from the same neighbourhood. This competition provides an excellent chance for residents to showcase their Ramadan traditions, create lasting memories, and enhance the festive atmosphere in Dubai.

This competition is part of the ongoing #RamadanInDubai campaign, now in its second year, which promotes cultural celebrations and enhances Dubai’s festive spirit during the Holy Month.
