Burj Park is set to take a central role in Dubai’s New Year’s Eve celebrations, with Emaar preparing an expanded week-long programme across Downtown Dubai.
Burj Khalifa New Year fireworks
Burj Park will serve as one of the key viewing spots for the fireworks, light shows and live performances around Burj Khalifa. The venue will offer managed access, smooth entry through pre-sized badges, family activities, food stalls and dedicated space away from the larger crowds across Downtown.
A new collaboration with Frontstage, part of Red Chilies Entertainment founded by Shah Rukh Khan, will bring Bollywood-themed performances and exclusive entertainment available only to Burj Park ticket holders.
Ticket details
Burj Park tickets are on sale through the event’s official website. Adult tickets cost Dhs950 plus VAT, and tickets for children aged 5 to 12 are Dhs 550 plus VAT. Children under 5 can enter for free, but a reserved ticket is required.
Downtown events
This year’s New Year’s Eve celebration will run from December 31 to January 7. Emaar’s programme will span the Burj Khalifa Lake, Dubai Mall promenade and the tower’s façade, using live acts, moving platforms, aerial displays, laser shows and fireworks.
Mohamed Alabbar, Founder of Emaar, said: “This New Year’s Eve, Dubai will transform into a stage of extraordinary wonder. We are creating a celebration on an unprecedented scale, with a stage larger than ever before and performances that will astonish and inspire. Every moment, every light and every spectacle has been designed to capture the spirit, creativity and ambition of our city. It will be a night for the world to witness and remember.”
Parade highlights
A large-scale parade will move through Downtown Dubai with floats, performers and puppets designed to reflect the city’s cultural and creative identity. Emaar says the full performance details are still under wraps, but the event will be streamed globally.
The extended celebration aims to give residents and visitors more time to experience the New Year period across Downtown Dubai.
