A new home design and furniture center has opened in Dubai, bringing more than 50 international and regional brands under one roof.
Mohammed Ali Rashed Lootah, President and CEO of Dubai Chambers, inaugurated the new “Art of Living” center during a ceremony attended by officials, investors, and industry experts.
Located on Umm Suqeim Road in Al Barsha 2, the three-floor destination spans over 50,000 square meters and hosts brands specializing in indoor and outdoor furniture, décor, and accessories. Several of the brands are making their regional debut.
Market demand
Lootah said: “Dubai continues to strengthen its global leadership as a preferred shopping destination and a key hub for reshaping the landscape of interior design and innovation across all sectors related to modern lifestyles. The emirate stands as an international model in attracting leading global brands and hosting specialized retail centers and innovative projects that reflect the diversity and flexibility of the local market, while meeting the expectations of both consumers and investors alike.”
He added: “The retail sector represents a central pillar within Dubai’s integrated economic ecosystem. At Dubai Chambers, we remain committed to supporting this vital sector by fostering partnerships, providing an ideal environment for business growth, and expanding opportunities for companies to access new markets in line with Dubai’s ambitious economic vision.”
Project vision
Dr. Samer Al Omari, CEO and Partner of Art of Living, said the concept was created to address a gap in the market. He noted that the idea stemmed from fragmented showrooms and the lack of a single destination for homeowners and designers.
He said the center was designed as “a complete ecosystem where brands, ideas, and creativity coexist,” adding that early challenges were outweighed by collaboration among partners. The center is close to full occupancy.
Sector growth
According to the management, the project aims to serve rising demand for premium furniture and integrated design solutions, driven by the UAE and Gulf real estate markets. The team is working on partnerships with developers to support furnished residential projects across the country.
Art of Living offers personal shopping consultants, interior design support, cafés and restaurants, and free parking. The building features a modern architectural layout intended to guide visitors through different sections easily.
