UAE travellers heading to Thailand will have another direct flight option from Sharjah from October, with Air Arabia adding a fourth daily non-stop service to Bangkok.
The additional frequency starts on October 25, 2026, taking Air Arabia’s Sharjah-Bangkok schedule to 28 non-stop flights per week. The airline already operates 21 weekly non-stop flights from Sharjah to Phuket.
That means Air Arabia will offer 49 weekly non-stop flights from Sharjah to Bangkok and Phuket combined, giving travellers more flexibility when planning trips to Thailand.
Sharjah to Bangkok flights increase to 28 per week
The new service is aimed at increasing the number of direct travel options between Sharjah and Bangkok.
Rather than changing the route, Air Arabia is adding another daily frequency. For passengers, the key benefit is greater choice when selecting a departure that fits their travel plans.
The airline has not provided the specific departure and arrival times for the new frequency in the announcement.
How many Air Arabia flights operate to Thailand?
Once the additional Bangkok service begins, Air Arabia’s weekly non-stop schedule from Sharjah will include:
- 28 flights per week to Bangkok
- 21 flights per week to Phuket
- 49 flights per week to Thailand in total
Both Bangkok and Phuket are among Thailand’s major destinations, giving UAE travellers direct options for trips to the country’s capital as well as its popular island destination.
When does the new Sharjah-Bangkok flight start?
The fourth daily Bangkok flight will begin on October 25, 2026.
The announcement confirms the additional frequency but does not specify a particular flight number, departure time or arrival time. Travellers will therefore need to check the published schedule when selecting flights for their dates.

The additional Bangkok frequency also complements Air Arabia’s existing Phuket operation, giving travellers access to two Thai destinations through a combined schedule of 49 weekly flights.
