Air Arabia Abu Dhabi has increased its flight frequencies to Baku and Tbilisi, responding to rising demand for low-cost travel between the UAE capital and two of the region’s most popular tourist destinations.
Expanded Baku schedule
The airline now operates six weekly non-stop flights between Abu Dhabi’s Zayed International Airport and Heydar Aliyev International Airport in Baku. Flights are available every Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, giving travellers greater flexibility for planning their trips to Azerbaijan.
More flights to Tbilisi
From August 7, service to Georgia’s capital will rise to eight weekly flights, with double daily flights on Thursdays. The move aims to enhance direct connectivity between Abu Dhabi and Tbilisi, a city known for its growing appeal among UAE residents.
“The increased frequencies to both Baku and Tbilisi reflect our ongoing commitment to strengthening our regional network while delivering greater convenience, flexibility, and value to our customers,” said Adel Al Ali, Group Chief Executive Officer. “These two vibrant cities remain popular among UAE residents and visitors alike. The enhanced schedules will not only reinforce travel and tourism ties but also offer a more seamless and accessible travel experience.”
Air Arabia Abu Dhabi has recently added new routes to Almaty in Kazakhstan and Yerevan in Armenia, expanding its footprint in emerging leisure destinations. The airline currently operates a fleet of 12 Airbus A320 aircraft and plans to add two more aircraft before the end of the year to meet growing passenger demand.
