Women entrepreneurs in the UAE will have a chance to build new business and digital skills without paying for online training, with 500 selected business owners set to receive six months of free access to LinkedIn Learning.
The initiative comes through a partnership between the Dubai Women Establishment (DWE) and LinkedIn and is linked to the Emirati Women’s Forum 2026.
Selected participants will receive access from September 2026 to March 2027, allowing them to use LinkedIn’s online learning platform alongside their business activities.
Free training for entrepreneurs
The programme is aimed at women entrepreneurs and business owners who want to strengthen skills in leadership, digital technology and entrepreneurship.
Unlike a short workshop tied to the Forum, the LinkedIn Learning access will remain available for six months. Participants can choose courses based on the skills they need and complete the training online.
LinkedIn Learning offers more than 26,000 courses and learning pathways covering business, technology and creative skills.
For a business owner, the training could be used for areas such as leadership development, digital skills, business management and adapting to changes in the market.
Who can take part
The opportunity is limited to 500 selected women entrepreneurs and business owners.
Participants can register through the dedicated LinkedIn platform. The registration process includes business-related information, where applicable, as part of the selection process.
Access is scheduled to begin in September and continue until March 2027.
Dubai’s focus on skills
The programme comes as Dubai continues to expand support for entrepreneurs and small businesses through training and business development initiatives.
The Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism also runs an SME Learning Hub, which provides free online resources covering areas such as starting a business, funding, operations and business growth.
For the women selected for the LinkedIn programme, the immediate benefit is access to professional learning content for six months, giving them an opportunity to develop skills while continuing to run their businesses.
