A customer who shopped at a Union Coop branch has won an apartment through the ‘Win Your Home in Dubai’ campaign, an initiative organised by the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism (DET) in collaboration with Dubai Chambers and Dubai Summer Surprises.
Winning journey
The winner, Hussain Kazim, became eligible for the campaign after shopping at Union Coop’s Al Barsha branch on June 16, 2026, and uploading his purchase receipt through the campaign platform.
He was selected as one of the apartment winners in a draw held on July 26, 2026, and received the keys to his new home during a ceremony on August 2, 2026.
Commenting on the occasion, Mohamed Al Hashemi, Chief Executive Officer of Union Coop, said:
“When we speak about the shopping experience, we mean moments such as these. Kazim did not simply win a prize; he won a home in the city he has chosen to live in. The fact that it all began with a simple purchase receipt from one of our branches reflects what it truly means for our branches to be closely connected to people’s everyday lives.

Campaign details
The ‘Win Your Home in Dubai’ campaign allows eligible shoppers at participating outlets to enter prize draws by uploading their purchase receipts through the campaign platform.
Union Coop said it will continue taking part in initiatives that support Dubai’s retail, tourism and economic sectors while offering customers opportunities through promotional campaigns.
