Parkin to manage parking at major Dubai malls under new deal

Parkin Company PJSC has signed a five-year agreement with Al Futtaim Group to manage and enforce parking rules across several major retail destinations in Dubai.

Pod parking focus

The agreement covers designated People of Determination parking spaces at three locations: Dubai Festival City Mall, Festival Plaza, and Arabian Center.

A total of 107 POD parking spaces will be managed under the deal, including 61 at Dubai Festival City Mall, 30 at Festival Plaza, and 16 at Arabian Center. The focus will be on improving compliance and ensuring these spaces are used correctly.

Enforcement system

Parkin will handle enforcement operations, including issuing and validating fines, as well as managing customer feedback and disputes. The company said insights from daily operations will be used to improve compliance and the overall parking experience.

The project will also include the use of License Plate Recognition technology to monitor vehicles in real time. Parkin will oversee the installation, operation, and maintenance of these systems.

The agreement expands Parkin’s work in the private sector and adds to its managed parking portfolio across Dubai’s retail and commercial locations.
