Global Village will mark the UAE’s 54th Eid Al Etihad with a week of cultural celebrations, performances, and entertainment from November 27 to December 3, under the theme “United.”

The annual event will highlight the country’s spirit of unity and diversity through traditional and contemporary experiences for families and visitors.

Festive atmosphere at Global Village

The destination will be decorated in the colours of the UAE flag, with themed installations and cultural displays across its streets and pavilions. Ten large-scale artworks inspired by Emirati heritage will be placed throughout the venue, offering visitors photo opportunities and interactive cultural experiences.

Fireworks and live performances

Spectacular fireworks displays will take place from December 1 to 3 at 9 PM, lighting up the sky in the UAE’s national colours. On December 1 and 2, drone shows will add a modern touch to the festivities.

The Main Stage will host “From the Desert to the Stars,” a theatrical dance operetta performed twice daily from December 1 to 3. The production reflects the meaning of the UAE’s union through artistic storytelling and choreography. Traditional Yola and Harbiya shows will also run throughout the park, and Khaleeji singer Khalid Mohammed is set to perform live on December 1 at 9 PM.

Emirati crafts and flavours

Visitors can explore Emirati-made products at the Emirates Pavilion, the 971 Community Pavilion, and the Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation for Humanitarian Works Pavilion, featuring creations from local families. The Heritage Village, run by the Hamdan Bin Mohammed Heritage Center, will showcase traditional handcrafts and cultural displays.

Food stalls and restaurants across the park will offer popular Emirati dishes such as Luqaimat and Ragag bread, alongside international cuisines.

Global Village said the celebrations aim to honour the UAE’s national identity and community spirit through culture, art, and family-friendly entertainment. The attraction continues to play a role in promoting cultural understanding while offering residents and visitors an inclusive place to celebrate national occasions.
