Arada has awarded a Dhs618 million construction contract for the development of the Anantara Sharjah Resort and Anantara Sharjah Residences, a new luxury seafront complex on Al Heera Beach.
Construction underway
The 24-month contract has been awarded to Intermass Engineering & Contracting. With enabling and foundation works already completed, full-scale construction is now in progress at the beachfront site.
The project will include a high-end Anantara hotel and 128 branded residences, marking the debut of the Anantara brand in Sharjah.
Project features
The resort’s design will include a prominent architectural gateway that tracks the sun’s path. Located on the northeastern edge of Al Heera Beach, the development sits along a 3.5-kilometre stretch featuring cycling tracks, jogging paths and dining outlets.
Residential units will range from one to four bedrooms, including duplex penthouses with rooftop pools. All homes will feature floor-to-ceiling windows, private balconies, and premium finishes.
Shared amenities will include five restaurants, a beachfront infinity pool, Anantara Spa, kids’ club, event spaces and fitness facilities.
“This contract will bring one of Sharjah’s most distinctive luxury destinations to life on the coast of the Arabian Gulf,” said Ahmed Alkhoshaibi, Group CEO of Arada.
“With its exceptional architecture and beachfront setting, the Anantara Sharjah complex will elevate the emirate’s appeal to international travellers and discerning homeowners.”
