British Pop superstar Robbie Williams enthrals audience in Abu Dhabi

British pop royalty Robbie Williams lit up the second edition of Experience Abu Dhabi’s annual three-month outdoor concert series, Saadiyat Nights, with an energetic, emotional performance that left fans chanting his name.

Saadiyat Nights, Abu Dhabi

Williams, the much loved 18-time Brit Award-winning solo star and former member of Take That, took to the stage on Abu Dhabi’s Saadiyat Island and addressed the delighted audience, said: “Abu Dhabi, how are you feeling? You really know how to make an entertainer feel [Good]. Instead of me explaining what entertainment is, why don’t I show you with some of my music, Abu Dhabi.”

Showcasing from his impressive discography of No1 hits dating back to the 1990s, Williams performed some of the most popular songs from his back catalogue, including Let Me Entertain You, Strong and Come Undone.

Williams’ reach is unprecedented, having previously been awarded the Guinness World Record for selling 1.6 million tickets in a single day for a previous tour – further highlighting Saadiyat Nights’ commitment to bringing the most in demand global talents to Abu Dhabi.

Saadiyat Nights is part of Abu Dhabi Calendar’s packed roster of year-round events catering to all tastes, spanning music, sports, comedy, family-friendly shows, cultural festivals, art exhibitions, and much more.
