A new report from Robert Half’s 2025 Salary Guide reveals that 65% of workers in the UAE plan to search for a new job before the end of 2025. 30% of them say the rising cost of living is the main reason for wanting to move.
On the business side, hiring in the UAE is expected to increase next year. More than 60% of UAE business leaders say they plan to hire more staff in 2025, with half of them citing business growth as the reason.
The report also notes that many businesses held off on hiring in 2024, waiting for political elections in countries like the US and India to be decided. Now, Robert Half predicts a busy start to 2025. Around 33% of business leaders were waiting for election results, while 32% are waiting for interest rates to settle before making hiring decisions.
