The 31st edition of the Dubai Shopping Festival (DSF) will take place from December 5, 2025, to January 11, 2026, bringing back one of the city’s most anticipated annual events with new shows, returning attractions, and expanded retail and entertainment offerings.
Organised by Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE), part of the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism (DET), DSF remains the longest-running citywide shopping festival in the world.
Expanded drone shows
This year’s edition introduces its most ambitious spectacle to date—a daily display featuring more than 1,000 drones, including 100 pyro drones. The shows, which will run alongside fireworks, are billed as the longest drone-fireworks performances ever staged in Dubai. These shows are free to attend and will take place every evening.
Entertainment and activities
The festival will open with a series of concerts featuring international and regional artists. Several popular DSF events will also return with updates and new features:
DSF Auto Season: A community-focused automotive showcase with interactive experiences for car enthusiasts.
e& MOTB: A cultural and shopping pop-up at Dubai Design District, featuring 27 new food vendors, 56 retail concepts (primarily homegrown), and over 100 exclusive items. Free concerts and interactive installations will also be part of the programme.
DSF x Hatta: Outdoor evenings in the Hatta mountains will feature light trails, concerts, fireworks, gourmet food pop-ups, and family activities.
Retail offerings
Over 1,000 retailers are expected to participate in this year’s festival. Visitors can expect mega sales, limited-edition products, pop-up markets, and exclusive collaborations with both homegrown designers and global brands. The return of Mega Raffles will give shoppers a chance to win high-value prizes.
Cultural and culinary highlights
In addition to retail, DSF 2025–26 will offer a diverse lifestyle experience. Malls across the city will host live music, culinary events, and family entertainment. Dubai’s gastronomy scene will be on full display, from MICHELIN-starred dining to traditional food trails.
Ahmed Al Khaja, CEO of Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment, said: “The 31st edition of the Dubai Shopping Festival will be a testament to visionary leadership, and the resilience and spirit of a city that continues to redefine what’s possible. For three decades, DSF has brought the world to Dubai, driving tourism, boosting economic activity, and creating unforgettable memories for millions.”
DSF 2025–26 is supported by Commercial Bank of Dubai as Key Sponsor and a number of Strategic Partners, including Al Futtaim Malls, Al Zarooni Group, AW Rostamani Group, DHAM, Emirates Airline, Enoc, e&, Majid Al Futtaim, Merex Investment, and talabat.
