At the World Government Summit (WGS) 2026, Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) took a major step toward revolutionizing urban transport by signing a landmark partnership with The Boring Company, a leader in cutting-edge tunnel systems and innovative transportation solutions.

The strategic collaboration will bring to life the Dubai Loop, a groundbreaking underground tunnel project designed to enhance mobility, reduce traffic congestion, and improve the efficiency of public transport in Dubai’s high-density areas.

This ambitious initiative is set to introduce advanced tunneling technologies to create faster, more cost-effective transport solutions. The Dubai Loop will connect key districts, including Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC), Dubai Mall, and Business Bay, revolutionizing the way people move across the city.

Dubai Loop

  1. Dubai’s RTA has partnered with The Boring Company to implement the Dubai Loop project.
