Union Coop has been recognised by the Dubai Senior Citizens Happiness Center for supporting the “Ihsan” Animal Welfare Initiative, which aims to improve the care and welfare of cats.
The recognition was presented during a ceremony at the centre in the presence of officials and employees.
Support recognised
Union Coop received the award for providing cat food and cat litter for the cats living in the dedicated cat garden established under the initiative.
The “Ihsan” initiative was launched to encourage kindness towards animals, promote animal welfare awareness and support environmental sustainability.
The award was received by Shuaib Al Hammadi, Director of Community Relations at Union Coop.

Animal welfare
At the end of the ceremony, officials from the Dubai Senior Citizens Happiness Center thanked Union Coop for its continued support of community, humanitarian and environmental initiatives that promote social responsibility and community well-being.
