OCTA Properties honoured by DLD and RERA at IPS 2026 in Dubai

OCTA Properties has been recognized by the Dubai Land Department (DLD) and the Real Estate Regulatory Agency (RERA) at the 22nd International Property Show (IPS 2026), capping off a period of high growth within the emirate’s property market.

The firm was named “Best Selling Real Estate Office in Freehold Areas,” while Founder and CEO Fawaz Sous was individually honored for generating the highest number of real estate sales in the “Non-Citizen Firm” category.

The high-profile accolades arrive amid record-breaking activity across the UAE’s property landscape. According to DLD figures, Dubai real estate transactions surged to Dhs 252 billion during Q1 2026—a 31% year-on-year increase—while foreign investment climbed 26% to reach Dhs 148.35 billion, drawing 29,312 new investors to the market.

Navigating Dubai’s evolving property cycle

Despite strong headline figures, OCTA leadership emphasizes that the market is entering a more mature and selective phase characterized by rising supply and increased competition.

Rather than relying on short-term market momentum, the company attributes its success to an integrated platform model that spans development management, design, marketing, and sales. Operating under this framework, OCTA has surpassed 9,500 units sold with a total sales value exceeding Dhs 20 billion, supported by a network of over 1,600 brokerage firms.

“Real estate is cyclical. We do not build our strategy around a single quarter or headline transaction number,” said Fawaz Sous, Founder and CEO of OCTA Properties. “We expect the market to become more competitive and selective, and that is when experience and execution matter most.”

Key figures and portfolio milestones

  • Total sales value: Exceeding Dhs 20 billion across more than 9,500 units.

  • Active pipeline: Approximately 4,600 units supported by a team of over 100 professionals.

  • Brokerage network: Partnerships spanning more than 1,600 real estate firms.

  • Featured projects: Commercial and development success on high-profile ventures including Rove Home, Marriott Residences Business Bay, Skyhills, Elie Saab Edition Jasmine Lane, and several Missoni-branded interiors projects (Moonstone, OCTA Isle, and Trio Isle).

Looking ahead, OCTA notes that long-term confidence in Dubai remains robust, driven by ongoing government investment in infrastructure, tourism, and economic diversification. As the emirate moves into its next cycle, the firm expects buyer trust, product relevance, and meticulous execution quality to dictate long-term success.
