Hudayriyat leads Abu Dhabi residential sales

Hudayriyat Island remained the top-performing area in Abu Dhabi’s residential property market by sales value for the second consecutive quarter, recording Dhs 19 billion in the first half of 2026, according to a report by the Abu Dhabi Real Estate Centre (ADREC).

The figure represented 27% of the emirate’s total residential sales value during the period.

Saadiyat ranks second

Saadiyat Island ranked second with residential sales worth Dhs 13.3 billion, while Al Reem Island and Al Maryah Island recorded combined sales of Dhs 10.5 billion.

Yas Island followed with Dhs 7.3 billion in sales during the first half of the year. Investment zones accounted for more than 22% of Abu Dhabi’s total residential stock in H1 2026, with about 72,000 housing units.

Al Reem Island had the largest residential stock among these zones, with around 27,500 units. It was followed by Al Raha, Yas Island and Saadiyat Island. The figures were included in ADREC’s Abu Dhabi Real Estate Market Report for H1 2026, which provides an overview of residential property activity across the emirate.
