Gulfood 30th edition kicks off at Dubai World Trade Centre

Gulfood’s 30th edition is now underway at the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC), bringing together over 5,500 exhibitors from 129 countries and welcoming thousands of industry leaders, CEOs, policymakers, investors, and visionaries.

The Next Frontier in Food

With the theme “The Next Frontier in Food,” the event is expected to generate $20 billion in trade deals and foster collaboration across the food industry. On Day 2, UAE Minister of Economy, H.E. Abdulla Bin Touq Al Marri, will deliver the keynote speech at the Food500 Summit, highlighting the UAE’s economic impact and its role as a global trade hub.

The Food500 Summit will gather top industry leaders to discuss key challenges and opportunities in the food sector. Notable speakers include Ananya Narayan (Hunter Foods CEO), Dr. Edwini Kessie (WTO), Alvyn Severien (Montaigne Nutrition CEO), and Tisha Livingston (Infinite Acres CEO), among others.

Abdulla Bin Touq Al Marri stated: “The UAE’s focus on the food sector as a key economic driver aims to increase self-sufficiency and enhance local food production. This strategy supports the ‘We the UAE 2031’ vision to boost national GDP and position the UAE as a top global food exporter.”

Gulfood Innovation Awards & Global Trade Showcase

The Gulfood Innovation Awards will recognize the best in food innovation, showcasing new products, technologies, and ideas. Visitors will discover cutting-edge food solutions throughout the event.

Gulfood’s 30th edition will feature top culinary talent, including Alain Ducasse, a chef with 21 Michelin stars. Ducasse will share his expertise on “culinary futurism” and sustainability, aligning with the UAE’s focus on sustainable food practices. The event will also host live masterclasses from over 120 chefs with 50 Michelin stars, providing unique culinary experiences.

Dubai World Cuisine: A Celebration of Global Flavors

Exclusive for ticket holders, Dubai’s finest restaurants will showcase their culinary talent through special dining experiences, including collaborations from top chefs at venues like Krasota, Takahisa, and Armani Ristorante.

Discovery Tours

Visitors can take part in one-hour Discovery Tours, offering in-depth, expert-led exploration of food trends and innovations featured at Gulfood.
