Etihad Airways has begun its summer seasonal flight programme with the launch and return of routes to several destinations across Europe and Africa.
The airline this week started new services to Krakow from June 11, Palma de Mallorca from June 12 and Zanzibar from June 14 as part of its network expansion plans.
Summer routes
Etihad is also resuming seasonal flights to a number of popular holiday destinations, including Malaga and Mykonos from June 15, Santorini from June 16 and Nice from June 19.
The carrier will also restart flights to Al Alamein from July 16. The route was first introduced last summer and provides access to Egypt’s Mediterranean coast.
Passenger kits
Passengers travelling on the inaugural flights of the eight seasonal routes will receive a limited-edition Summer Essentials Kit.
The kit includes a waterproof backpack, a waterproof phone pouch, electrolyte supplements, flavoured sparkling water, a ginger-based drink and water wipes.
Onboard experience
According to Etihad, the kits have been designed to support passenger comfort during summer travel and provide practical items for use during beach holidays and city breaks.
The initiative coincides with the airline’s expanded seasonal schedule as demand for summer leisure travel continues across key destinations in Europe and Africa.
