On World Pilots’ Day, Emirates recognized the dedication of its pilots and reaffirmed its commitment to expanding its flight crew with plans to hire over 1,500 new pilots within the next two years.

The airline is leveraging its Accelerated Command programme, which fast-tracks First Officers to the role of Captain, with over 80 pilots currently progressing in the program.

Emirates pilots fly the airline’s modern fleet of 261 all wide-body aircraft, including Airbus A380s, Boeing 777s, and the recently added A350.

The airline operates flights to over 148 destinations across six continents, offering pilots a unique flying experience over diverse terrains, from dense forests to oceans and the aurora borealis, all at 40,000 feet.

Pilots enjoy a competitive tax-free salary, comprehensive medical benefits, and generous leave, with 42 annual leave days and First or Business Class tickets for family members.
